Terms of Use

Last updated: June 2026

These terms explain the rules for using Super Solicitor (“the Service”), operated by Big In The North Limited (“we”, “us”), a company registered in England and Wales. By using the Service you agree to these terms.

1. What Super Solicitor is — and isn’t

Super Solicitor is a free technology platform that matches members of the public with independent solicitors who are authorised and regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA). We are not a firm of solicitors, we are not regulated by the SRA, and we do not provide legal advice or legal services. Using the Service does not create a solicitor–client relationship between you and us.

2. No legal advice

Information on the Service — including AI-generated summaries, suggested areas of law, indicative costs and timescales — is general information only. It is not legal advice and must not be relied on as such. Any cost or timescale shown is a broad indication, not a quote. Only a solicitor you instruct can advise you on your situation and give you an accurate price.

3. How matching works

You describe your situation and our technology suggests an area of law and a selection of regulated solicitors. Matches are generated automatically and are not a recommendation, endorsement, or guarantee of suitability, availability, outcome or price. Some firms pay to feature more prominently; these are clearly labelled as “Sponsored”, and paid placement never changes a firm’s regulatory status or your free access to the Service.

4. Your relationship with solicitors

Any solicitor you contact through the Service is independent. They are solely responsible for the advice and services they provide, for their own regulatory compliance, and for their agreement with you (including fees). We are not a party to that relationship and are not liable for it.

5. Using the Service responsibly

You agree to provide accurate information, to use the Service only for lawful purposes, and not to misuse, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to it.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, its content and branding are owned by or licensed to Big In The North Limited and may not be copied or reused without permission.

7. Liability

The Service is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for any loss arising from your use of the Service or from any solicitor you engage through it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

8. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always appear on this page.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales.
